Best beaches to visit in Rincon and Cabo Rojo by Private Boat Tour

Simply Caught Charters offers private boat tours to some the top beaches in Puerto Rico. In this blog we are going to break down our favorite beaches that are accessible by boats. Having a trailer able 23 foot center console we have been able to explore the many remote beaching of entire Island.

Playa Sucia “Playuela”

Located on the Southwest tip of Puerto Rico. Playuela is an amazing beach with great hiking. It sometimes depends on the day you go but can absolutely be one of the prettiest beaches on earth. On occasion it gets bad Sargassum on the beach but there is always fallbacks once there. This beach generally requires about a 30 minute hike to reach thus making a boat a great way to get there. Once there the beach is breathtaking ! Swimming here is easy because of the sandy bottom and calm swells. After a few hours on the beach there is great hiking on the huge cliffs surrounding the bay. With Faro Los Morrillos lighthouse in the backgroud it is defiantly one of our favorite !

Combate Beach

Combate Beach is also located on the SW tip of the island. It runs just to the south out of the town of Combate. Also, a great place to visit ! With miles and miles to walk the beach and the calm seas its great to grab a beach chair and relax. On our private boat tours we often park at the end away from town with the boat. 1/2 of the beach is buoyed off to not let boats in, thus keeping the beach more private. The weekends are always a fun time as this is when the locals come out to play. Combate Beach is an amazing place to tarpon fish too. These giants swim right up to the beach. We often see them swimming at our feet ! If I take my family out for a day on the boat this is where we go… Call today to lean more about our Private Boat Rentals

La Parguera

La Parguera is well known to many Puerto Ricans as the best place to boat in Puerto Rico. It has many islands and flat waters to navigate and explore. On many of our private boat tours we anchor up to one of the mooring buoys to swim, snorkel, and fish. The Tarpon fishing in Parguera is super easy ! The water consist of large flats with sand and eel grass mixtures that make for amazing snorkeling. Not far away is the Town of Parguera. This is a great small fishing town that we often swing in for drinks and lunch.
